Grillz in Medellín by area
Grillz Medellín serves all of Medellín and the Aburrá Valley metro area, plus Rionegro and Llanogrande. We take moulds at our studio or visit your home, hotel or Airbnb in 16 areas, from El Poblado and Laureles to Bello and La Estrella. From COP 250,000 (≈ US$65) per tooth.
Grillz El Poblado
El Poblado is where we take the most moulds: it is where most visitors stay and where many locals work. Whether you are in a hotel on the Milla de Oro or an apartment up Loma de Los Balsos, impressions take about 20 minutes and you never have to cross the city.
View area →Grillz Provenza
Provenza is the boutique-and-specialty-coffee block beside Parque Lleras, and the centre of Poblado nightlife. Plenty of people here see grillz as the piece that finishes the look, so they book the mould early to have the set back before the next weekend.
View area →Grillz Manila
Manila is the flat, walkable pocket between Calle 10 and Avenida Las Vegas, packed with mid-stay apartments where digital nomads spend one to three months. With that much time, it is the ideal base for ordering gold or iced pieces, which take a little longer.
View area →Grillz Laureles
Laureles is the neighbourhood of tree-lined circular streets and genuine paisa neighbourhood life. Visitors who want less noise than El Poblado stay here, and plenty of young locals around UPB and La 70 live here. It is our second-busiest area.
View area →Grillz Estadio
Estadio runs on the schedule of the Atanasio Girardot: Nacional or Medellín match days, big concerts and the bars on La 70. If you want to debut your grillz at a derby or a stadium show, this is the neighbourhood to plan from.
View area →Grillz Envigado
Envigado feels like a small town inside the metro area: a lively main square, traditional restaurants and a growing tattoo and streetwear scene. Many clients here pair a first set with a pair of fangs for everyday wear.
View area →Grillz Sabaneta
Sabaneta is Colombia's smallest municipality and one of the fastest-growing in the south of the valley. The fondas around its main square are a paisa party classic, and more and more young locals here start with a silver set.
View area →Grillz Itagüí
Itagüí is industry, commerce and neighbourhood pride. There is a strong street culture here — music, dance, motorbikes — and grillz fit right in. Most requests are for single gold caps and fangs.
View area →Grillz Bello
Bello, at the north end of the valley, is home to a big share of Antioquia's urban music talent. It is a sizeable city on its own, and we do not want you crossing all of Medellín for a properly made set.
View area →Grillz Belén
Belén is Medellín's most populous comuna and one of its most traditional: a church square, a market and corner shops that have been there for decades. Requests here lean toward subtle pieces — a single cap or an open face — for daily wear.
View area →Grillz Centro / La Candelaria
Downtown Medellín has been the heart of the city's jewellery trade for decades. That is exactly why we do things differently: no generic counter pieces, only grillz built on a mould of your own teeth.
View area →Grillz Robledo
Robledo, in the city's north-west, is a student and neighbourhood comuna with technical universities and a very active rap and freestyle scene. Clients here know what they want and usually arrive with a design in mind.
View area →Grillz Las Palmas
The Las Palmas road climbs east from El Poblado past viewpoints, hotels with valley views and country houses. Many visitors staying here are shuttling to and from the airport, so we plan the mould for their first or second day.
View area →Grillz La Estrella
La Estrella, at the southern tip of the valley, mixes new residential complexes with a traditional town centre and the Romeral nature reserve. It is calm — ideal if you want the whole process without moving around much.
View area →Grillz Rionegro / Llanogrande
Rionegro and Llanogrande, in eastern Antioquia, are the gateway to José María Córdova airport and an area of country houses and long stays. If you land and stay out east, you do not need to come down to Medellín for impressions.
View area →Grillz Comuna 13
Comuna 13 — San Javier — went from a symbol of conflict to one of Latin America's landmarks of street art: graffiti, hip hop, breaking. You cannot talk about Medellín street culture without it, and grillz belong to the same aesthetic.
