How your grillz are made in Medellín
Getting grillz made at Grillz Medellín takes four steps: a mould or digital scan of your teeth (about 20 minutes, at the studio or where you are staying), a design you approve, casting and hand finishing, and a final fitting and handover. Plain pieces take 5–10 days; gold and iced take 10–15 days.
01 · Mould or digital scan
We take upper and lower impressions with dental material, or an intraoral scan if you prefer. About 20 minutes, at the studio or your hotel or Airbnb.
02 · Design
We send a proposal: teeth, metal, karat, gold colour, finish and stones. Once you approve and pay the deposit, casting begins.
03 · Casting and hand finishing
We cast on your model, adjust, set any stones and hand-polish to a mirror or diamond-cut finish.
04 · Fitting and handover
Final fitting, adjustments if needed, case and care instructions. Balance due on handover.

We finish the piece, check the fit on your model and send it insured and tracked to your country or anywhere in Colombia. Shipping is quoted before you leave.
Process questions
How long do they take?
Between 5 and 15 days depending on the material. Plain silver or chrome pieces take 5–10 days from the mould. Gold and iced pieces take 10–15 days because of karat casting and stone setting.
I'm visiting — will they be ready before my flight?
Almost always, if you book your mould in your first days in Medellín. For gold or iced, aim for at least two weeks left in your trip. If you leave first, we ship them to your country.
Do you ship internationally and across Colombia?
Yes, we ship nationwide and internationally. We cover any city in Colombia and abroad with insured, tracked courier. Shipping is quoted by destination.
How is the mould taken?
With a dental impression kit of silicone or alginate. You bite a tray for a couple of minutes per arch, and the whole process takes about 20 minutes, at our studio or where you are staying.
Do you come to my hotel or Airbnb?
Yes, we do home visits. We take the mould and do the final fitting at hotels and apartments across Medellín and the Aburrá Valley, arranged by email.
